Kanom Chan (Sweet Layer Cake)

The ingredients

Rice flour 1/2 cup
Tapioca starch 1 1/2 cup
Arrowroot Flour 1/2 cup
Coconut cream 3 cups
Sugar 2 3/4 cups
Food coloring

Steaming method

1.Mix coconut cream with sugar. Set the heat to dissolve & bring to filter

2.Mix all 3 types of flour together, put 1 1/2 cups of coconut cream, blend together til finely mixed for about 10 minutes. Put all the remaining coconut milk together

3.Separate the flour into the desired color. Light coloring mix is preferable

4.Brush with vegetable oil to the mold, steam for about 1 minute. Pour the flour into a tray to make thin layer and steam for 3-5 minutes each. Depending on the size of the mold about 5-7 layers. Once cooked, leave to cool. Remove from the mold.
