La Ong Fah (Steamed Rice Flour with Shredded Coconut)

The ingredients

Rice flour 1 1/2 cups

Shredded coconut 1 cup

Coconut Milk (200 g) 1/2 cup

Sugar 3/4 cups

Jasmine flavor 1 cup

 

Method

1.Mix rice flour with coconut milk until the dough is formed. Do not let the dough to, grate the dough on white cheesecloth, cloth should be dampened a little. Steam over high heat for 25 minutes

2.Make a syrup by adding water and sugar in a pot, drop jasmine flavor. Once boiled filter with white cloth. Leave it to cool and set aside the syrup

3.Cooked mixture (Ingredients # 1) Pour the syrup into the bowl and mix well. Cover the lid and let them abort for 20 minutes. Take a fork to rake the mixture to get the nice tiny texture that rises above the surface

4.Light fragrant candle to the dessert and top it off with shredded coconuts
