Kanom Tarn (Toddy Palm Cake)
The ingredients
Rice flour 500 g
Sugar 400 g
Coconut milk 3 cups
Cooked Todd Palm 350 g
Baking powder 1 tablespoon
Shredded coconut 2 cups
Method
1.Stir to dissolve sugar in coconut milk. Add todd palm and mix them together. Then add flour and baking powder. Stir well til it’s all combined
2.Filter ingredients with some white cloth. Set aside for about 10 minutes
3.Put water into steamer. Arrange small confection cups into the steamer. Once the mixture is ready, fill the ingredients into the cup until the cup is full. Sprinkle with shredded coconut. Steam over boiling water for 15-20 minutes, Set aside to cool and it’s ready to serve
