1.Prepare bean filling. Peel green peas to soak in hot water for about 1 hour and rinse with clean water. Steam until cooked then leave it (split the steamed beans into two parts, one for the filling and the second part for tossing with wrapped dough
2.Mix grated coconut with salt. Steam in boiling water for 3 – 5 minutes
3.Knead glutinous rice flour with jasmine water or pandanus juice until finely mixed. Divide by the number of colors you want, then add food coloring. Lean towards soft color palette. Knead til the color evenly smoothens. Mash and shape balls into bite size (about 1 inch in diameter) and then press flat. Use white cloth dampened with water to cover up
4.Heat water then put the dough into boiling water. Once the dough is cooked up, use a ladle to scoop them out of the pot. Then knead with steamed coconut prepared in the second stage. Press balls into thin flat by hands. Add mung bean and wrap it up, press both ends tightly. Then toss with grated coconut and mashed green peas already prepared for tossing.
5.Garnish with sesame, roasted sesame seeds and sugar. Ready to serve as a snack immediately
